  1. I love this I have been In tears cause I cant go to church this truelly helped I love seing everything I can see

  2. I'm trying to understand why did Joseph Smith and many other Mormon presidents taught that God was once a man and then became God? The Bible Clearly teaches that God is immutable and Eternal (The immutability of God His quality of not changing) is clearly taught throughout Scripture. For example, in Malachi 3:6 God affirms, "I the Lord do not change." (See also Numbers 23:19 Gotquestions.Org) God is also said to be eternal without a beginning(Genesis 21:33, Deuteronomy 33:27 Isaiah 40:28,
Habakkuk 1:12). Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my question and hopefully providing a Biblical answer.

The following quotes are from Joseph Smith, and Brigham Young.

Joseph Smith said that God was once a man.
"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted Man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens . . . I say, if you were to see him to-day, you would see him like a man in form–like yourselves, in all the person, image, and very form as a man . . . it is necessary that we should understand the character and being of God, and how he came to be so; for I am going to tell you how God came to be God. We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity, I will refute that idea, and will take away and do away the veil, so that you may see . . . and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God himself the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth the same as Jesus Christ himself did," (Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, p. 3).

Joseph Smith said that God was not always God.
“We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea, and take away the veil, so that you may see. These are incomprehensible ideas to some, but they are simple. It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the Character of God, and to know that we may converse with him as one man converses with another, and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did, and I will show it from the Bible,” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-346. Italics in original).

    Brigham Young (2nd president prophet)
He (God) is our Father – the Father of our spirits, and was once a man in mortal flesh as we are, and is now an exalted being. How many Gods there are, I don't know, but there was a time when there were not God's and world's, and when men were not passing through the same ordeals that we are now passing through.
    (Journal of Discourses 7:333)

  4. Love it, we have a gal that was a Baptist and she joined the church about 2 years ago, she gets up for the longest time and says "Hello church" now I get it!

  5. Without partaking of the sacrament on Sunday, my life is like an empty vesul the restore gospel has also changed the life of me and my family

  6. If we follow in His footsteps, I think that means we're living like He lived, and that can happen everywhere. God knows us and loves us no matter where we go! Much love to you all. ♡

  7. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints go to the direct source Himself- Heavenly Father in faith, sincere real intent in our heart, obedience to His commandments to know if the Book of Mormon and Bible are Heavenly Fathers word. Each member receives their own loving warm individual witness. The beautiful love is an indescribable warmth that no man on earth can give. The love remains daily.

Millions if not billions by now across the globe share the same loving conviction of the truthfulness of the gospel. I testify with every part of my heart and being that Jesus is the Christ, He and Heavenly Father Live.
