  1. Just a Whitney Houston's pupile could bring a spiritual song to a giant stage like The Voice (that probably there is not nothing christian) and keep being the BEST. Nippy would be proud, Davon

  2. He is annointed wow god bless . i can sing too and i try for jesus to lead me when im singing. I hope u go far :):)

  3. I haven't been watching the Voice this season but I want to vote so I'm catching up on the Top 12, and now I'm thinking I have to watch his blind audition because he has such a high voice for a guy! Good song too, though it's usually more subdued.

  4. Amazing! This exact song was played at my cousin's funeral and hearing Davon's version brought me to tears. Simply amazed. Do your thing, Davon!!! #Baltimore

  5. And when I don't have the words I say Oh, thank You for loving me… Goosebumps and the spirit fills me up when he sings that part of the song. Beautiful.

  6. Music is a gift from our Creator and what a gift Davon has!! I watch this performance over and over again. Although I have loved many others over time, this one really touches my heart. It's simply beautiful!!!

I I knew you were good but I had it all wrong…..YOU ARE ALL BLESSED TO THE CORE OF YOUR SOUL TO BE ABLE TO REACH HEAVEN LIKE THAT….🙏🙏🙏🙏

  8. Devon flemmings should have won the voice if this show were really fair they need to stop letting the public vote and choose 4 fair separate fair non bias judges to choose the most talented voice if that were the case Devon would have won he was in a whole another class how in the hell the country singer beat out Devon country music serves its purpose but there's no way he should have beat out Devon the public picks base on popularity not talent and that's not a fair system period

  9. Amazing voice but I wish they didn’t make the song so slow I wish he would’ve sang it a little more like how Mercy me does but once again awesome voice!

  10. Unbelievable…!! Just unbelievably insane…great job to one of my favorite church songs …tamela man would be proud!!! Uggh so good!!

  11. thank you for being you ! your voice is anointed ! I Have a few songs Required . You are my friend By Patti LaBelle or Sylvesters cover/Prince adore you /GOD bless the child .

  12. He ruined it and from a Christians perspective if i sing that song wss horrible because he Left jesus out of it

  13. The power is not only in the blood but in the NAME!

Jesus said if you deny me me before men, I'll deny you before my father in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33.

The power of the praise is in the NAME.

Without it, he just sang a nice song. Not one of praise and glory.

  14. This was my sister's favorite song before she passed away at the age of 23 and she wanted played at her funeral so this sing means a lot to me

  15. All the people who say its good that he picked a religious song. listen to it again, and realize it's actually not that religious cause he took Jesus out of it. and that's basically what makes the song that brilliant. Not trying to be a buzzkill, but he is the opposite of brave

  16. I wonder if he was forced to omit the name JESUS from the song…? It's complicated because you don't really know who he's really singing to. Great voice, but didn't really like the changes to the song.

  17. Oh man he sang Tamela's version so beautifully. It truly is my all time favorite song and connection to God. Amazing job man truly amazing.

  18. Next time actually sing it right and include the name “Jesus” in it. After all, that’s who it’s about!
