See A Victory | Official Acoustic Guitar Tutorial | At Midnight | Elevation Worship

hey guys I’m David Liotta I’m a guitar
player for Elevation Worship I’m going to show you how to play the song See A
Victory I’ll show you the chords and break it down section by section so this
first part is the intro and the verse it’s the same chords for both we’re in
the key of B flat I’m putting a capo on the 3rd fret the intro and the verse are
the same chords and we start with this E minor 7 shape
and then we move to a c-shape and then to a G shift for the G shape
traditionally you have your first finger on this fret right here just to add a
little bit of clarity I take that off like this so again the Chords are E minor C and G so I’ll start with the intro and we’ll
move to the verse The weapon may be formed but it won’t prosper when the darkness falls it won’t prevail cause the God I serve knows only how to triumph my God will never fail my God will never fail cool for this next section it’s the
chorus chords changed a little bit same basic shapes still using those G
shapes with a capo on the third fret and the chords for the chorus same four
chords all the way through the chorus start with this E minor 7 shape moved to
the C shape to this G shape and then we end with this D shape so again E minor 7 C G and E so I’ll play a little bit of the end of the
verse and then we’ll go into the chorus oh my God will never fail I’m gonna see a victory I’m gonna see a victory For the battle belongs to You Lord I’m gonna see a victory I’m gonna see a victory for the battle belongs to You Lord cool so the next section after the
chorus is verse two and those chords are the same as the first verse and then
after verse two we go to chorus two and those chords are also the same as chorus
one and so after chorus two we went through the bridge and those chords
changed a little bit I’ll walk you through that so we start with that same
C shape and then we move to a d-shaped and that’s a quick passing G over B
shape it’s all that is is your basic G chord and all you do is just leave out that low E string and start on the A string putting that note as the lowest note in
the chord the note on the A string and then you go back to the C chord
and then to this E minor shape then to the D shape
so that’s the progression the first three times through the bridge when
whoever singing goes to the part of the bridge where they sing higher that’s a
fourth pass through the bridge the chords changed a little bit and I’ll
show you that so same basic chord movement only one
chord changes we start with the C shape move to the D shape and that quick
that passing chord this time is an E minor
and then we go back to the C shape and then back to the E minor shape into
the D shape here’s what the bridge sounds like You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn if for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good sweet so the only other section of the
song with the chords are different are the last bridge after the last chorus
for that section it’ll be actually the same chords as the
last section of the bridge the last time we played the bridge with that where we
start with the C shape we go to the D shape and then to the E minor back to
the C back to the E minor back to the D but just for this bridge it’s that
the whole way through so here’s what that sounds like I’m gonna see a victory for the battle belongs to You Lord You take what the enemy meant for evil and You turn it for good You turn it for good You take what the enemy meant for evil and you turn it for good You turn in for good that’s how you play See A Victory
